When my son announced he was getting married, I knew it had to be a Katya Wildman dress. I wanted something extra special and booked to come down from Bury to visit her. I brought my husband Rob along too. It was a really great experiece. Katya made me feel relaxed and welcome.
It was like a behind-the-scenes peek into her creative world. Katya even showed me her fabric rolls – . I ended up choosing the Signature dress in a stunning indigo silk.
When my dress arrived (after just four weeks), I nearly cried. I was so happy.
What really stood out was how positive and fun the whole experience was. To have the full attention of a celebrated British designer, and to walk away with something made just for me – it felt like incredible value. I couldn’t recommend Katya enough. I also feel like I made a friend.

How do I get a 'Made for Me' dress?
The best thing to do is to book an appointment to come in. People come from all over the country. Being close to Tottenham Hale, the transport links are great. There is also parking.
However, If you want to work together remotely, this is fine too. Katya will send you a dress to try on for size and then you can go from there choosing from swatches.
Can I try on a dress before committing?
Yes! You can either:
Visit Katya in person at her North London warehouse in Tottenham Hale for a relaxed one-to-one fitting and styling session. Or you can work together remotely via trying on another style and then choosing your own fabric once you know what you want.
How do I choose the fabric?
You can select your fabric:
- In person, during a studio visit, where you’ll be shown a curated selection of beautiful fabrics and colourways.
- Remotely, if visiting isn’t possible. Katya will send detailed fabric photos or samples and guide you to find your perfect match.
How long does the process take?
Your bespoke dress will be lovingly made in London, with a typical turnaround time of 4 - 8 weeks from fabric selection to delivery.
Can I customise the style or colour?
Yes! While styles are based on Katya’s signature silhouettes, there’s flexibility in colour, fabric, and design. Katya will help tailor the look to suit your body and the occasion.
What sizes do you cater for?
Katya’s dresses are designed to flatter a wide range of body types and are available in sizes 8–26+, with bespoke adjustments available. If you're unsure about sizing, Katya will advise during your consultation or fitting.
Where are the dresses made?
All Made To Order pieces are handmade in London using skilled craftsmanship and high-quality materials. Supporting this service means directly supporting British design and local artisanship.
What if I change my mind or need to cancel?
Because each Made To Order piece is created just for you, we are unable to offer refunds once production begins. However, Katya will work closely with you before any dress is made to ensure full confidence in your decision.
Can I speak to someone before ordering?
Absolutely. You can email hello@katyawildman.com with any questions, or request a callback. Katya personally handles all Made To Order enquiries and loves getting to know her clients.
